Your four-letter words for Election Day 2026: LOVE, HOPE, VOTE, and OATH
November 3, 2026
For Election Day 2026, below is our roundup of the recent Election-Day-related posts and video featuring comments by Bruce Springsteen. We at Letters To You wish all U.S. voters a peaceful, intimidation-free Election Day today. Okay, on to the roundup...
posted last Friday - The Home of the Brave USA sitdown with Springsteen backstage at last month's Power To The People Festival - Home of the Brave USA is an organization formed for "lifting up the voices of people whose lives have been directly harmed by the Trump administration." Bruce talked politics and music with Home of the Brave USA board members Ken Casey of Dropkick Murphys, former Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia law enforcement officer Michael Fanone (who was assaulted by rioters during the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol building,) and The Bulwark publisher Sarah Longwell:
posted this morning - Springsteen's message "to election officials and representatives of our government on Election Day... You have sworn an oath to preserve, protect, and defend our Constitution. That means you have a solemn duty to ensure that our votes are securely counted. Thomas Jefferson said government requires 'the consent of the governed.' You who represent us must never consent to any directives that undermine our Constitutional right to a free and fair election. Our vote is our voice, and it's up to you to ensure that our voice is heard. I wish you all a good Election Day, and thank you for your service."
